SparkPost was created as a quick and easy-to-use cloud version of Momentum™, a powerful and robust on-premises email sending platform. The name and symbol reflect this, with the “spark” flame symbol replacing the “O”, starting from a point and igniting upwards.

McArdle is a large commercial printer in metropolitan Washington. Their green trucks were well known in the area and symbolized the company’s Irish heritage. Years later, when a new logo design was needed, it was important to the client that their history and heritage were maintained. This was done by creating a 4-leaf clover symbol using CMYK colors identified with offset printing.
Old Town Commons is a real-estate development in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. The logo is a stylized pineapple. Wealthy colonial families often presented a pineapple when guests entered their homes as a gesture of warmth and hospitality. It quickly became a popular architectural motif, and is still prevalent today.
